2012 - London to Germany
It happened, pretty much as planned but someone almost got the weather wrong again. Maybe next year we could do it in January to have a better chance of staying dry
We completed 620 miles plus a cross channel crossing via the eurotunnel, all in aid of our 3 sponsored charities. Leaving London at a slightly late 7am we arrived on time for our booked train only to be held up for 2 hours by eurotunnel delays.
Arriving in France late we headed straight to Belgium and a photo opportunity at the Atomium in Brussels before heading out to the Netherlands and onwards into Germany.
The weather was a whole lot better than last years trip with only occasional rain and higher temperatures
Arrival at our destination at 10:10pm, 2 hours later than expected due to the tunnel issues at the start of the day
See a few photos below, more to be added soon
